01. Does this kit include battery cells?+
No. The JKESS 6U Rack Battery Box is an enclosure kit only. It does not include LiFePO₄ prismatic cells. You will need to purchase 16 cells of 280Ah, 304Ah, or 314Ah capacity separately. We recommend using reputable brands such as EVE, CATL, or REPT. The enclosure is designed specifically for the standard 3.2V prismatic form factor (L173*W72*H207mm approximately). Always use matched cells from the same batch for optimal performance.
02. What type of cells are compatible?+
The enclosure supports 16S (16 cells in series) configuration of standard prismatic LiFePO₄ cells. Compatible capacities: 280Ah, 304Ah, and 314Ah. The physical footprint must match the standard L173*W72*H207mm size (with some variation for terminal height). 05. Is the BMS compatible with other brands?+
The enclosure is designed to be BMS‑agnostic. You can install any BMS that supports 16S LiFePO₄ configuration, provided it fits physically. However, for the best performance and integration, we highly recommend using the JK‑PB2A16S20P BMS (available in PRO and CCS variants). This BMS is pre‑configured for the 6U enclosure, with mounting holes and wiring channels already aligned. If you use a third‑party BMS, you may need to adapt mounting and wiring — we provide CAD drawings to assist.
